What shoppers see

These apply to every product in your shop. Your own Designer screen always keeps every tool and font.

  • Tools: Add text, Upload image, Clip art, Templates and Drawing. A tool that is off disappears from the designer. With Upload image off, your shop also refuses shoppers’ images.
  • Fonts: which of the fonts shoppers can choose. At least one stays on, and text already set in a font you switch off keeps that font.
  • Colors: Highlight (the chosen tool, the active print area, selection outlines, sliders), Main button and Background tint.
  • Prices in the designer: whether the running total includes VAT, or follows WooCommerce.
  • Coupons: whether a percentage coupon also discounts the customization, or only the product’s own price.
  • “Design now” button: its wording, an icon, and its colors.

Uploads and protection

Anyone visiting your shop can upload images into the designer, so these limits decide how much can land on your server. Uploaded images are private files.

  • Largest image stored: 10 MB unless you change it, 20 MB at most, and never more than your hosting accepts. A bigger photo is not refused: the shopper’s browser shrinks it to fit before sending it.
  • One visitor, per hour: how many images, and how much in total, one visitor may add. The next one is refused with a message asking them to wait.
  • Whole shop, per 24 hours: when this much has arrived, image uploads pause for everyone until it drops again. Shoppers can still design with text and clip art, and orders still go through.
  • Visitor address: change this only if your site is behind a proxy or a CDN. Otherwise every shopper seems to come from one address and they would all share one limit.

Clean up

Clean up now removes designs that were never ordered, are in nobody’s cart and are older than the number of days you set, along with the images only they used. Orders and their files are never touched, and neither are images in templates.

Print files

Print files are made from each order’s screen, see Make print files from an order.
