The designer
Does it work on phones?
Yes. On a phone the canvas fills the screen, the 3D view sits in a bubble, and the tools open as sheets.
Can shoppers upload photos from their phone?
Yes. Big photos are shrunk in the browser to the size limit you set before they upload, and a warning shows when a photo is too small to print sharp. You can also switch uploads off.
Which fonts are there?
19 fonts, served from our own server, so your shop sends no requests to Google Fonts.
Can shoppers start from a ready design?
Yes. You create templates (from any design you make in the designer) and sort them in categories.
Can shoppers change a design after adding it to the cart?
Yes. They see it in the cart and at checkout and can open it again to change it.

Is 3Designer a WooCommerce plugin?
Yes. You install a WordPress plugin; it adds the designer to the WooCommerce products you choose. The designer itself is served from the 3Designer server, so it stays up to date without plugin updates.
Do I need 3D skills to use it?
No. Four ready-made products are included with their print areas placed. To use your own model, upload a GLB file and click on the model where each print area goes.
What products can I sell with it?
T-shirts, long-sleeve T-shirts and hoodies come ready-made. Any product you have a 3D model of (GLB or glTF) works with your own print areas.
Can I use my own 3D models?
Yes. Upload a GLB model in the 3Designer admin and mark its print areas on it. Four ready-made products are included.
Does it work with variable products?
Yes. 3Designer works with WooCommerce variable products.
Can I charge more for a back print?
Yes. Each print area has its own price, added only when the shopper designs that area. WooCommerce works out the tax.
Can I choose which tools and fonts shoppers see?
Yes, in 3Designer → Settings: tools, fonts, the designer’s colors and the “Design now” button.
Does it work in my language?
The designer and the plugin are ready for WPML, Polylang and Loco Translate, and so are your own texts, such as print area names.
Does it work with my theme?
3Designer doesn’t depend on your theme. It has its own design, and you can match it to your shop with your own colors in its settings. It works with any theme.
Does it work with Shopify?
Not yet. 3Designer works with WooCommerce today, and a Shopify app is coming soon.
Is it good for school and team merch?
Yes. Class shirts, school hoodies and team gear are exactly what it is made for: front, back and sleeves on one 3D model, with names, years and logos where they will print.
Files and data
What file do I get for printing?
A PNG per print area at the physical size and DPI set on the product, 300 DPI unless you change it. Make them from the order and download them as one zip.
Are uploaded photos public?
No. They are private files that only the shopper and you can open.
Does it send data to Google?
The designer does not load Google Fonts or anything from a CDN: its code, fonts and icons come from the 3Designer server.
Where are designs stored?
In your own WordPress: designs, products, orders and uploads stay in your database and your uploads folder. To make press-quality files, the design is sent to our server, which sends the image back.
Plans and billing
Is there a yearly price?
Yes. Pay yearly and get two months free.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. Your license stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed after that.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If 3Designer is not right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of a payment, at paddle.net or by writing to us. Try the live demo first to see everything it does, and cancel at any time so you are not charged again.
